With a grand main building and a separate Annexe this is a well-situated hostel for adventure. It's based in the heart of Cheddar, within walking distance of Cheddar Gorge and the wider Mendip Hills.
The venue sleeps up to 53 people (school groups) or 59 people (family groups), making it a perfect destination for group accommodation including primary and secondary school trips. Mendip's partnership with the YHA allows us to deliver exciting school and youth group residentials and trips out of this hostel.
Owned and operated by Mendip Adventure, this is a YHA (England and Wales) partner hostel. The hostel is the perfect accommodation in Somerset for exclusive bookings and school activity trips and group trips.

VISITING CHEDDAR

Groups can also add on instructor-led activities with Mendip Adventure. Depending on your group, dates and aims, activity options may include outdoor sessions such as climbing, caving, kayaking and hiking.
