Our private camping villages at Basecamp. Mendip Activity Centre, are laid back, rustic and designed to ensure young people get as close as possible to the great outdoors.
They are available as part of a School Residential Trip in the term time and available for public bookings in the summer holidays and weekends.
EXCLUSIVE USE: Groups always have exclusive use of their camp, campfire circle and toilet and shower cabin.
SLEEPING TENTS: 10 bunk-tents accommodate up to 12 people.
The camp has capacity for up to 120 people.
FACILITIES: Each village has their own private, purpose-built toilet cabins and showers a short walk from the sleeping tents.
LOUNGE AREA: Each camp has exclusive use of a large marquee.
CATERING: Catering takes place in a communal marquee with private dining times for each group.
TEA & COFFEE: Each village has access to tea and coffee stations with access to fridges.
WASH UP: The covered wash up has sinks and a drying area.
EXCLUSIVE USE: Groups always have exclusive use of their camp, campfire circle and toilet and shower cabin.
SLEEPING TENTS: 10 Nomadic Bell tents and two Glamphouse tents for teachers. The bell tents accommodate up to 10 people and the Glamphouse tents accommodate up to 8 people.

The Tented Village is our smaller camp, requiring a minimum of only 30.
EXCLUSIVE USE: Groups always have exclusive use of their camp, campfire circle and toilet and shower cabin.
