Students Learn About Outdoor Activity Sessions and Holidays
Students met with members of the Mendip Team to learn about the organisation before heading out on a walking tour of the 250-acre outdoor activity site and campsite. In line with their studies, they learnt about the different accommodation types on offer which include Mendip Lodge bunkhouse and three Tented Villages.
In addition, students learnt about Mendip's sustainability goals and viewed ways they are providing green energy, tree planting and promoting environmental education. Finally, they discussed and viewed some of the ways Mendip are making their activities and site more accessible to those with physical and learning difficulties.
After the tour, students enjoyed a competitive round of the activity Frisbee Golf.
