MENDIP DESTINATIONS
MENDIP BASECAMP
Available between May and October, Mendip Basecamp is Mendip's canvas accommodation.
It forms part of Mendip's 250-acre Activity Centre in the heart of the Mendip Hills National Landscape.
The minimum number of students required to book a school residential at Mendip Basecamp is 55 students whilst the smaller pop-up tented village can cater for smaller numbers.
Basecamp can accommodate large groups of up to 300 students.
MENDIP LODGE
Our indoor residential centre, Mendip Lodge, is a beautiful country Lodge, recently refurbished. Right in the heart of Mendip Activity Centre, it makes a great base for your school trip.
The minimum number of students required to book at residential at Mendip Lodge is 55 students.
The Lodge sleeps up to 86 in hostel-style bunkroom accommodation.
YHA CHEDDAR
Available all year round, YHA Cheddar is a 53-bed youth hostel in Somerset town of Cheddar.
With two buildings, this venue is perfect for smaller primary school residentials or secondary school field study trips.
This venue is well-situated to visit Cheddar Gorge and with direct access to the Mendip Hills, it's bound to be an adventurous week!
CATERING
Our menus are locally sourced and packed with all the energy you need for the adventure ahead. Everything is prepared on site in our fully-equipped commercial catering kitchen to ensure your students have well balanced and freshly cooked food all week.
What's included?
Catering starts with your first evening meal and ends with your final packed lunch before you head home We are able to cater for all dietary needs and requirements. We will provide details of all our menus including allergens and calories.
